Does anybody know that if their RAM 1500 was built before July it's not as safe as newer ones?

Wait you bought the truck used or new from dealer or private party? I know fca dealers don't report everything to Carfax. But if this was new truck I be quite mad and expect a replacement

Was bought new from a dealer. If the damage is below a certain $ threshold they don't need to disclose, and if a dealer fixed it themselves it would be pretty easy to get it under whatever number that needed to be. Truck is gone...traded for a 2019 F-150. It's nice driving a truck that doesn't have something wrong with it literally every single day.
