Does anyone not like the 2019 RAM 1500?

My cousin has the same Ram as mine except his is 2019 and mine is a brand new 2018. I can't stand the new exterior. I know auto companies are constantly trying to make their vehicles look sleek and cutting edge.. but personally it just looks bad. Almost as if the designers tried too hard.

Didn't know how to take it at first, but when I see one now, a Sport in particular, parked next to a 4th gen Sport I really do like the 5th gen. But I DO NOT like the huge price difference in them now. To get my exact truck, options and such, in a new '19 Ram, MSRP is $10,000 more. (CND) Ummmm, no thank you, truck hasn't improved THAT much to me.

Ram would've "hit it outta the park" if they would have kept the lowered headlight look that put it on the map!

The interior is nice. Really nice. Sat in a rebel yesterday. But a little too bright and lots of buttons and knobs still. And man a 1500 is a heck of a lot shorter then my 2500

The 5th gen 1500 is very nice but I don’t care for the front end. I don’t dislike it enough to make me not buy one, but it doesn’t look good enough to make me sell/trade mine to get one. No offense to the 5th gen owners here.

There’s a few spy shots of the 5th gen 2500 and it “appears” to look more like what I expected but we’ll see when it gets unveiled

Keep in mind. That front seat is alllll the way back and leaned back pretty far. If my wife were to drive I’d be as comfy as could be lol.

Well I’m not trying to sell anything hahaha. There’s a reason I have a crew cab. Both my 12 yr old son and 14 yr old daughter fight to sit behind mom on passenger side. Both of them are taller than her :anitoof: there’s times I have let her drive and I’ll sit behind her. It’s like a damn limo for me then

I agree. Looks fine from the back, looks like a Toyota from the front. They completely destroyed the looks. I'm really hoping the HDs will be better. Interior is fantastic though..

I think the unique angular, aggressive look of the 4th Gen really made the Ram stand out compared to the competition. In my opinion, the 5th Gen is too curved and rounded. I also think the headlights are too narrow -- It's always easy to tell when a 4th Gen Ram is behind you at night because of those headlights that have become an iconic characteristic of Ram. I haven't been a fan of the modern trend of cars becoming more curved and sleek looking, and it seems like Ram has followed suit.
