I love my truck.....except for a couple of things. One of them is the doors. Whenever I open the door, it opens easily, goes to the next "stop" and then fly's closed again. It is almost impossible to get the door to stay open, short of manually stopping the door.

Does anyone have any suggestion for making the door spring back less?

None of my doors do that, and I don't think yours should. You might want to take it to the dealer. Something might need to be adjusted.

they're heavy doors, fling em open and they'll come right back. I just open them nice and easy..never an issue.

I use my **** or leg to stop the door from coming back; I have to hold it open for my kids to enter/exit, and my own door to walk around and fold open the pass mirror after backing out of the garage ("power folding mirrors ARGH!).
How hard is it to stop the door where you want it?

I wouldn't be slinging these doors open. Look at the body flex at the top hinge when the door hits the stop, even relatively lightly.

I didn't notice anything different in door stopping ability between my 2014 and any of the other Dodge trucks I've owned. I don't have any of the others around to do a side-by-side comparison, though.

I actually like it. I've timed it perfectly now to where I open the door, jump up on the seat and most of the time the door will shut itself behind me :)

I actually know what you mean. When I first got the truck I almost knocked my self. lol

It's like you open them and there's no tension keeping them open..
The rear doors will swing open real easy and gotta be careful in a parking.

anyways. I'm used to them now.
