I coated mine with heavy grease. So far, so good...

To go along with the washer issue... I used the O-Rings that were mentioned and they didn't stay on very long. Maybe a couple of weeks before I found one had come off. Now, I'm pretty sure all of them are off, and I just deal with the noise. I thought I'd try the washers, but sounds like they will work themselves off of the post as well. Maybe some of that chain lube will work. I might give that a try.

Okay so I bought these for my 2017 when I had it...
drop one just over the head of the hinge and it sits between the arm and the head...
My squeak stopped for maybe 6 months to a year

I used the aerosol spray lithium grease I posted up-thread, lasted a year so far.
Only downside I can see is that the grease is bright white and my truck is dark
blue so it really stands out. But it has worked.

Yea, I tried that stuff as well, as a few others. It was probably the 3rd or 4th product. Like you, I now have white spray on my hinges. :D

Whatever I put on there, it will only last a couple of days, then it's back to the normal squeaks and groans. Oh well.

Perhaps your hings(s) are just too worn, or damaged?
My truck saw about 95% highway miles for the first 100,000 miles, and minimal door use during that time. There was a time in my work life that I used my POV to run service calls and the driver's door took a serious beating.

That noise can be really annoying, to me at least. I hope you find something that works.

Yea, they may be worn out. I'm at 187k miles and the truck gets used a lot. It's an annoyance on occasion, but most of the time, we pretty much just ignore it.

I feel like mine started shortly after buying new but I could be misremembering.

I just use WD40. It stops it for awhile. The reason I use it is my property is mostly sand, and some clay. The sand is gritty. Some of the other lubes collect the sand and turns it into sand paper.
Yes I know WD40 is not a great lubricant, but it works.

In your case, WD-40 is likely cleaning the grit out...

Open the door about 6" to a foot ,grab it at the bottom and see how much up and down movement it has, that's the easiest way to determine how badly worn your hinges are

I have not seen those bread ties in Belize. So, I used the washers.
We throw bread-bag-closures away weekly. PM me your address and I’ll mail you some.

Teflon or nylon washers would probably work just as well.

What was the name of that chain lube, seemed like it lasted quite a while
it may have been PJ 1
It may have been taken off the market, it was made of whale spe*m originally
I used PJ1 Black label. It's been 6 months (2 of snow and winter) and the door is still quiet.
