You can force a stationary Regen with AlfaOBD. You shouldn't need to do this unless there is mechanical/sensor problem and the DPF is reporting full for the computer after repairs
As for cleaning the DPF, there is probably companies that can pull it out for a physical cleaning.
For "cleaning" during a regen, put a good heavy load on the truck and work the snot out of it.
If your not seeing notifications for the truck prompting you to drive so the truck can regen, keep driving they way you have been.
