A sharp rap with a heavier hammer on the SIDE of casting/forging the tapered end is stuck in.... Normally pops it loose.

What you're doing is distorting the roundness of the hole for a split-second which breaks the grip.

Hope that makes sense.

Pickle forks usually wreck the boot or the joint. Not cool when I get most of my parts from donor trucks.

^^^While apply force with a bar. And make sure you use a BFH and swing it like you mean it.^^^

Ended up getting it out with the pickle fork with a sledge lol now I'm at a new problem , can't get the new one in because of that part . Only reason I got the old one out. The joint had came out completely. Which gave me room to get the old one out . Been prying and heating this part with no movement

Those cone washers are very difficult to dislodge.

Try a good soak with penetrating fluid, and whack with hammer horizontally where I put red dots. Rotor and caliper bracket probably have to come off. 20210606_160303~2.jpg

On medium/heavy trucks with cones on the axle flange we would strike the center of the flange with BFH to shock them loose. Maybe drive on an impact socket over the studs? Air hammer with blunt bit can also be handy.

On my full-float diffs with the cone washers, I strike the sides/edges of the axle flange at each one to pop them loose.
