I can’t be the only person dealing with this issue. The creaking sound the drivers door makes. Especially when it’s all the way open and you are pulling it closed to start driving. It’s driving me nuts. So far I’ve tried:
1) WD40
2) T-9 Boeshield
3) CRC 6-56 Marine
4) CRC Heavy Duty Silicone
5) PB Blaster
6) even Fluid Film (which I ended up wiping off because it made the cab of truck stink.)

Am I missing something?
Just throwing this out there, my truck door squeaks because at a certain spot during opening/closing it the door contacts the fender. I carried it to the dealer one day to show them but it was raining and the door didn't make a sound.

I have plenty of greese, but where exactly are you guys applying this lube?
The round spinning part (roller) (in the above picture of the mechanism) as you move the door is the piece that squeaks. Try to get some spray grease to go inside, then put some grease on the outside. Quiets them right down. I use Jigiloo or fluid film. Spray, rock the door, spray more, rock...

Check the rubber weather strip at the inside edge of the door. It's that. Not the hinges. It dries, stiffens and flares from the edge rubbing the body. I watched it very carefully with a head lamp and after lubricating repeatedly, as the rubber doesn't immediately behave, it stops the ungodly creak sound that any type, frequency or intensity of lubing the mechanicals didn't phase. All these other solutions just eventually bled to the problem which was the same initially in my case. Trust me it's the rubber rubbing it's thick, stiff, dried out and rubs metal. that's why it would always come back, be very hard to eradicate as in other posts. If it was the hinge, any good grease and it would stop.

I don't have that big noise like in the above video, but the little squeak is from the rubber seal front bottom corner of the door where it rubs on the rocker. Just like cozycabin says above. I just cut off the tiny bit that rubs. Noise gone.

As previously stated, white lithium grease. Now that you mention it, mine's been squeaking lately, time to spray again. Last time I sprayed was a year ago.

Just got a Ram 3500 in July 2020. I retired the 2002 F250 w 7.3 Powerstroke. First thing I learned was to hang onto the door. The hinges on the Ram are half the size of the older Ford and are not the heaviest. I had to lube the hinge and roller and if it is windy you better be careful with the door. There is not much of a stop on those hinges and you can practically over extend the door. Not sure how it will hold up with more miles and wear?

Coat the roller bearing the spring loads plate bears on with molybdenum disulfide grease. Many brands available, I use Yamaha Marine grade.

I mix Bitron additive in my oil can and used it on all household hinges 20 years ago...can’t keep the doors open. Tried it on the truck rollers 6 months ago and no squeaks yet. Won’t use it on anything else though, causes leaky seals.

I just use engine oil applied with an old style pump oiler right on the very top of the roller. Stopped the squeak completely and only have to give it a couple of drops about twice a year.

I have delt with the hinge squeak, but I also experienced a squeak/creek from a support bracket inside the door near the mirror (Behind the door panel). It was driving me crazy until I tightened the bolts a quarter turn and the noise went away. This was on a 2015.
