Drivers side A pillar to engine bay?

I would like to run a power wire down the a pillar and into the engine bay where I have a small aux fuse box. Anyone know if there is a way to get the wire through the firewall that is cleaner then shoving it through one of the boots?

I think daystar makes a grommet to replace the clutch block off plate ( I believe that what it replaces). A few members have used it

Found this but I just drilled through the block off plate.
