So sad to read that two lives were lost on such a beautiful frozen high altitude lake. Spent many days both camping and kayaking there.

They don't want to drop there Ram's in the lake, so everyone keeps them home for MOM to drive.

Dropping through Minnesota lake ice with a Dodge pickup back in the early 2000's isn't something that people noticed then.

Maybe if it is a Ram Power Wagon dropping into the lake, people would at least watch it?

Not that anyone would ever lie, but if one dropped it into the lake, and no one saw it go down, for insurance purposes it possibly could get "stolen" after it's just left out there. Hard to tell, if you can't see it.

I know....it's not a PW but I just drove on ice for the first time this past weekend while up in Battersea, Ontario - 18" of ice all over the lake. That said, it was still a bit unsettling haha and a strange sensation to drive out to our friend's island when I'm only familiar with the trip via boat.
