Wow, just looked it up, $200 seems really steep
Guess it depends on what your time is worth, it would cost 3 times that to drive around and sit at different dealers all day while they try to see if they can turn them on. Plus I hate letting those fools mess with my truck.
I bought the OBDGenie to activate my DRL's and I love them, very bright even in full sunlight, wish I had done this months ago. I recently turned the headlight switch to the parking light/fog setting and noticed they didn't turn off, they allow me to have the DRL's with fog lights. They do turn off when you turn the knob all the way to headlights.
Does the dealer activated lights allow fogs too?

Do your cab lights come on with your DRLs?
Curious, the site says *2015+ vehicles do not have on-screen DRL toggle. Does this mean I won't have the on/off option on my 2016 screen?
Exactly, DRLs via OBD Genie don’t have on/off onscreen on 2015+Curious, the site says *2015+ vehicles do not have on-screen DRL toggle. Does this mean I won't have the on/off option on my 2016 screen?
No it doesn’t, hence the reason JB1 posted this about the OBD Genie. It’s an add-onMy 14 Journey has the DRL option on the screen, even though they aren’t activated. My 17 Ram doesn’t have the option on screen at all.

Got it thanks! So if that’s the case I’m better off just paying my dealer $180.
Yes and take time off from work, but you get to watch The View or Ellen while your waiting, maybe even enjoy some delicious dealer popcorn lol
And just like that, my dealer activated my DRL’s.Welcome to the club!View attachment 127677 And just like that, my dealer activated my DRL’s.
I had completely forgotten the dealer owed me $140 for a bad alignment job not to long ago. I gave them two chances to get it right before taking my truck somewhere else. Regardless, instead of paying the $40 difference for the DRL’s they simply zeroed everything out for me.
