what does the DT mean I.E 1500DT mean ?
i am new to the RAM 1500 and i see this term quite often just wondering what it stands for

The series I believe the previous years were ds .

DT is the chassis designation for the 5th gen Ram 1500. 4th gen designation is DS. Both are currently being produced. It's important to know which one you have when buying replacement or upgrade parts for your truck.

New body style is DT
