Dual Exhaust

I want to put dual exhaust on my 2004 Ram. Will the newer type rear bumper with the dual exhaust cutouts work?

This is how i ran duals on my 04, turn downs just before the rear axel.
Sounds good and you cant see it !! You can just hear it.

If you want just a bit better sound
Do what Ole Buck did, but turn the dump tubes up to the outside, at an angle that points at the ground, right where the tire track would be.
Give it a try, before welding

Mine with turn downs before the axle were insanely loud inside the cab. I ran them over the axle and it made a big improvement. Still loud, but I can hear the radio now. My setup: gutted cats, cut the y-pipe off and ran two 2.5” pipes to an x-pipe about halfway back on the cab, then a pair of 10-series 1-chamber Flowmaster race mufflers at the back of the cab.

I have a Borla single out on my 2004. Sounds awesome, especially with a new Y connector. Unfortunately, Borla doesn't seem to continue making systems and moves on to more current autos.
