So Im getting Magnaflow Exhaust installed and the guy asked me if I wanted true duel exhaust from the cats back or run single pipe to the muffler then split to duel pipes... What is the best for performance?

Far as the kit goes if your not looking for full on performance get a Single in/ Dual out muffler of your choosing and 2 tips however you want them to exit. I would suggest getting them to put in a new Y pipe to help the truck breathe alill better.

True dual exhaust is really not necessary for a stock / near stock truck.
What gains might you see? I don't know 4 HP difference?

If you had nice long tubes, and wanted a dual setup with an X or H pipe I could see it.
I'd put the money elsewhere.

true duals on a stock truck will yeild no gains, and will lose you some ponies down low. I run long tubes, 3in Y, and a 3in single all the way back, I know I have alot more mods, but truth is unless ur running boost there is no need for true duals. I have my cutouts right after both long tubes, for that exact reason(similar ro Chefred112)
