Has anyone run the Goodyear duratrac LT35x12.5x17 E rated?

Are there any issues with rubbing putting these on factory rims?

Finally took delivery last week of my custom ordered 21 beast!

I ran them as a winter tire! I don’t recall any rubbing! Great snow tire! The tread is a little soft for the heavier full-size! They seemed to wear fast! I don’t think I’d get 20,000miles out of them!

Another weakness is the 2-ply sidewall, though I never had a sidewall puncture!

I’d get 40,000+ miles out of the D rated on my Tacoma! Loved them on it!

I have them on my 2021. No issues to report, spare tire fits with no air and some tlc getting it up in there properly. I have been dropping pressure lately and the ride is definitely improved at 40psi vs 65psi

Thank you for the replies. Just trying to figure out what the best tire upgrade is for this truck.

I would look at something else to be honest. As previously mentioned. Those duratracs wear fast on these trucks.

I went with Toyo AT2's in a 35 as the AT3's were on backorder. I have been super happy with the wear on these. Had them on 6k miles and they are wearing perfectly even. Although, i do need to send them for a rotate and balance soon just to keep them wearing evenly.

There are much better tires out there other than the duratracs. Not to mention that cost less than those expensive damn duratracs!

That's what I was thinking as well. I am trying to find something that still rides fairly quite, but has enough grip and longevity to go do the fun stuff.
This truck will be towing a 35' travel trailer to and from the fun stuff.

How many miles do you think you will get out of the Toyo?

I think I have narrowed the search down to 3 tire models.

BFG KO2
Toyo Open Country AT3
General Grabber ATX

I am more leaning to the KO2.

Im hoping for at least like 40,000 out of these tires. I do also use them quite a lot with off roading and such.

Grand Mesa made a good point about the Toyo C/T's havin a 50k warranty. which is always great.

Imho, Duratracs are a great Jeep tire but a lousy Power Wagon tire. Our trucks do well with Toyo tires and Toyo has been the go to tire for many of us over the years. I'm running the AT2 with good tread wear and handling. Whatever tire you get the key is to run a much lower pressure than factory 65psi. That pressure just wears out the center of the tread and makes for a harsh ride . I'll also advise you to check out the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W, it has been getting a lot of very positive reviews and that may be my next tire.

I am running the KO2's. With its 2 ply sidewall they're on my travel trailer, not on my Power Wagon.

We ran KO2's on the Ram Cummins. Minimum traction law tread depth here is 6/32". The KO2's has 15/32". Don't expect longevity with it having one of the shallowest A/T treads.

I had discount tire rotate and balance my falkens after 13k miles and they still had 16/32nds tread, which is more than the ko2 is brand new lol

From their website...

DEEPEST TREAD IN THE CATEGORY*
Class-leading tread depth provides long lasting wear as well as consistent snow and hydroplane resistance throughout the life of the tire (*LT Sizes, 20/32nds inches).

I installed KO2 after one of my Duratracs took a cactus spine in the sidewall. I would buy them again, they’re quieter than the DT and smooth at all speeds.

E rated you will notice some increase in feeling rocks and surface irregularities when on the trail. Even aired down it’s a stiffer carcass.

Like Olyler, I bought Falken AT3 35’s. They look great stacked up in my garage, wish I had a power wagon to put them on....

The slow train from China...er Mexico will get it here one day...

Just my 2 cents on Dura tracs. The ones that came on my power wagon in 2016 lasted 4k miles.... Good year actually replaced them for free thank god. Said they were defective. The 2nd set lasted 41k miles before i replaced them, they were right on the edge on passing inspection. Rotating every 3-4k ish.. I got got a new 2021 power wagon and stuck with the duratracs, but swapped them for 35's E rated. no rubbing running the stock bead lockers. I really like them, low road noise. great on ice and snow, good in mud. I cant speak to the sidewalls. I dont go rock crawling etc.. just mud and the occasional logging trails. Huge difference in ride quality around 50-55 psi which is where i ran unless I was going to tow something heavy. I've not run the other tires mentioned so no personal experience to compare too.
