So tonight I'm surfing YouTube like most nights and like most nights I'm watching videos of modified cars. I have noticed that most of these cars are using E85 fuel. Do you get more power from using E85? Less knock? If so, can our Rams be tuned to run E85? TIA, for helping me in my quest for infinite knowledge lol

E85 is 85% alcohol. Can be used in flex fuel vehicles like some 4.7L Rams. There is more involved than just a tune to run E85. The fuel system would need to be changed to deal with the alcohol.

Yes E85 makes more power.
No you can't get a tune for it, it eats away at non-specific hoses, seals, etc.

E85 doesn't really make more power, it's higher octane. around 100 octane actually. Means you can tune for that to get more power. E85 actually has less energy my volume than pure gas. It'll take more E85 to make the same amount of power than 100 octane race fuel. But E85 is cheap so racers like to run it as opposed to $10/gallon race fuel.
