What is the stock idle speed of the Echodiesel?
I just got my Ram 1500/Cummins ISB170 (4 cylinder) swap running and I think the torque converter is a bit tight as it wants to be moving as soon as you drop it in gear. I was hoping the Echodiesel idles a bit higher than the Hemi that was in my truck.
My Cummins idles at 800.

Wow, I would have thought someone would know what their truck idles at.
I googled it but just got a bunch of "high idle" info but no base idle.

I want to say it's in the 600-700 rpm range, that probably depends on if the engine is fully warmed up. I'll pay attention this weekend and get a more accurate numbers for you. Whether the engine is hot or cold mine will always move when dropped into gear(fwd or rev).

Thanks guys, it would be interesting to read the RPM both in neutral and in gear but not moving.

From a cold start at idle: 770 rpms
In gear while cold idle: 900 rpms
once warmed up in gear or not: 670 rpms

When the engine is below about 50° at start up the ECU will raise the idle to about 1100 rpms but only in park and then drops when the engine/exhaust warns up.

Thanks crash68, I think I need an ED torque converter.
I stuck a less aggressive tune in the Cummins and its better but still not great.

My 2015 ED that I had once warmed up 650-800 rpm. Of course, when doing a regen it went up to 1,000 and change depending upon various factors like temps and such..
