EcoDiesel Gauge cluster swap

I’m new here to the forum, nice to meet you all, I had a 2010 ram Hemi for a few years absolutely loved the truck but I just bought a 2016 EcoDiesel got a smoken deal on and my father has the 7in gauge cluster that has all the options in the colored lcd screen I love the look of that cluster I have done some research but the gas clusters and easy to come buy I found a few diesel ones but there only saying for 2500-3500 I’m assuming it would work for the Ecodiesel but it’s a pretty penny to just try!! But if anyone has any experience or and more information it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

The gas version wouldn't work so well as the tach is different and the lack of the DEF gauge. The clusters for the HD diesel trucks have the redline indication that starts at 3500 instead of the EcoD cluster which is 4500.

Also take note that if my memory serves me correctly, the ODO is tied to the cluster...so if you're buying a used cluster, better know what the miles on it states.

That is correct, but there are several place that they can be sent to for correction (to match what is actually on your truck).

There is a short in the wiring somewhere between the cluster and air bag try taking cluster out and moving the wires and see if it comes on.
