Hi Folks,

Recently changed my battery terminals and one battery on my 2003 5.9 Cummins. The other battery is only 8 months old.

Truck is starting and driving fine but since then noticed ambient temp not working, displaying 2 dashes - -

Brake sign is on, service 4x4 is on and backup camera is ON, sometimes “lamp out” signal comes on.

Checked all the fuses, they look fine.

Any ideas what might have gone wrong?

Sounds like something didn't get reconnected or is loose. Which side did you work on?

What kind of terminal ends did you use? If you used the crappy cheap auto store clam down ones that is most likely your issue.

My daughter's car had all kinds of electrical issues from a bad crimp on the ground terminal cable. thousands of cars were affected by this. It looked perfectly normal
