I have been going nuts trying to figure out what in hell is wrong. The abs, brake lights are on and no speedo
I test codes 500. 1762. 1763 138 and 141. Installed new denso o2 sensors and code 138 and 141 are gone progress.
New tranny vss cleared code but back straight away and still no speedo
After reading my repair manual today I see in the brake section that make sure emerg and regular brakes are good.
All wheels have new calipers ,rotors drums and all new lines but I noticed one thing.

My emerg Peddle locks the brakes fine but comes back up to the top or does not lock down
Is this right or does it mean there is a issue with the Peddle?

Sounds like it to me. Maybe some dirt or trash of some kind is preventing it from locking.I also think there may be a spring missing that keeps pressure on the mechanism.

Ok so it should stay down till it is released. Mine has a brake switch issue the switch seems to be faulty.
So this keeps the brake light on.
I wonder if that effects the abs?

ABS, Brake lights, and no speedo is usually the speed sensor on the rear Diff.
1 nut, 1 plug, you should be ok.
