she is liberal she can get away with that stuff, not sure if pat boone is safe tho and tim mcgraw for sure is in the cross hairs. Rumor has it RAM is going to be the next to go as animal activists feel it is damaging to the breed. Also apparently another group thinks it has sexual overtones. Buddy just told me his daughter in-law works in HR at Micron technology and there is a group that wants to have the word penetrated removed from all literature company wide and no male female connection terminology. Not sure what they will change the terminology too.

Mcgraw is safe, he is about as left as they come.

I am still trying to figure out how having an automobile name is offensive? Or do they really secretly just want some $$ to use a word?
Maybe if they used it for the top of the line instead of a lower level of trim, it would be ok?

    Ah ha.
Chief Hoskin told the Wall Street Journal, "We hope the movement away from using tribes’ names and depictions or selling products without our consent, continues. We much prefer a cooperative effort than an adversarial one.”

I do agree with the Chief on this though.
. "The best way to honor us is to learn about our sovereign government, our role in this country, our history, culture, and language and have meaningful dialogue with federally recognized tribes on cultural appropriateness."
I do find their history and culture interesting.

1/4 Cherokee wife says there's other real issues than the name usage.
