Use top tier gasoline and you shouldn’t have any issues. Majority of additives do nothing more than drain money from your wallet.

I’m sure there are some that may be beneficial but I wouldn’t waste my money on them.

Red Line seems to be a popular additive, but there is lots to choose from.

Look for Polyetheramine or PEA, it is the stuff in Techron gas and is widely thought of the best detergent cleaner, although Shell with Nitrogen might take exception to that. Why Redline S1 is so popular, you will get the most PEA in the container. But, it isn't something that works in one use, either commit to using it in every tank for a while, or just stick to top tier gas. If you ever looky into the cylinders with a boroscope and you see a problem, not even PEA will be great at getting that crud off, but sea foam though the vac lines will. What PEA does is stop the slime that turns into carbon, but once it is carbon, you will either have to use it long term or find something that is 100% strength right on the problem. Just adding 12 ounces of anything to 25 gallons of gas will only be so effective. But adding 12 ounces of solvent to gas will do next to nothing, so look to detergency to get some cleaning, or sea foam full strength right on the problem. The one issue with sea foam this way does nothing for injectors, that you will need long term use of a PEA cleaner like Techron or Redline s1.

And according to the qt bottle of techron it cleans fuel guage sensor in tank. The qt bottle is the only one that says that and I'm thinking it's just because bigger bottle/ more space to write. Anyways the techron is 1 Oz per gallon, so if you have 32 gallon tank dump in the whole qt.

always run top tier fuel and run some Redline or techron thru it once in a while. Both are great options. we have been getting a lot of people purchasing some bottles of Redline fuel system cleaner when they order their Redline Synthetic oil. Its becoming a popular product for good reason as its a proved to be effective

What's you're opinion of shell and their nitrogen? I run quiet a bit of shell and I do get better mileage with it. I either run shell or BP, I get a bigger discount on BP but like the shell better.
