Hi there
I have a 2009 ram with the hemi. The manual says to change the plugs at 30000 miles. This seems excessive as most vehicles today are 60-100000 miles on plug changes. Why is the hemi require more frequent plug changes and what are the advantages and disadvantages compared to waiting until 50 or 60000? Also the trans fluid and filter require changing at 60000 miles. I tow an rv alot and wonder if this is changing often enough. The owners manual says 60000 miles under heavy use to include towing. Anymore most trans shops want to do a t-tech fluid change only. I know in the past when I changed trans filters I never found anything in the filters. Is t-tech the way to go or should it be filter and fluid as the manual states? The truck has 36000 miles now.
thanks

I used to sell T-tech's working at Valvoline. They are pretty ****** lol. Drop the pan and changed the fluid and filter or have a flush done at the dealership.
