Engine code po 973 how to fix shift solenoid A control circuit low.. 06 ram 2500 deisel. Do I have to replace the valve body. Or just a solenoid and witch one is it. I changed the transmission fluid. Thinking it was dirty filter. Didn't look bad at all. Did have the wrong filter went to the dealership got the right one. Engine light went off and came back on.. for the same code... never had a problem Till now. Thank you trying to help.

Have you tried clearing the codes? To me that sounds like a voltage problem, not necessarily a solenoid problem.
