a few weeks ago my trucks check engine light came on randomly, U0140 ($07E9) - i believe for the Body Control Module
i was trying to pass smog, so i used an odb2 scanner and cleared the code.
after driving around a bit, the code never came back and the truck passed smog.
then this past weekend, while on the highway, the trucks acceleration gave out and the check engine light came on
i coasted over, turned the truck off, and tried starting it again. it started up no problem so i drove up the highway
about 20/30 min later, the truck cut off again and i coasted to the side of the road.
again i coasted over, turned the truck off, and it started again.
i got to my destination and the read the code with a buddies odb2 reader, it threw P1206
it drove for a few days, and yesterday it didnt want to start at all.
then out of curiosity i tried it again a few minutes later, it started up and started again today
WTF!
could the initial BCM code (that never came back) be messing with something electronically?
or is that independent of my fuel pump potentially going out?
