I have a knocking coming from what I think is cylinder 3. At 1st I thought maybe its the coil pack so swapped cy1&3 over and I still have the problem.

Next thing to try im thinking will be 2new plugs, im jot changing the set as they weren't done that long ago.

If its not the plugs or coil pack what are your thoughts.

No fault codes are being reported.

Sometime going higher octane fuel or switching to synthetic motor oil can cure the ticking. If it's more of a knock, most likey wear & tear on the valve springs or something along those lines.

Hope you figure it out

Could be related to octain. Cant detect ot with premium gas, but it's there on that one cylinder when running propane. I didnt notice it till the last few weeks.

Im already 3000km into running redline. Its not loud you can feel it by touch and if you weren't trying to listen for it, it might take you a while to catch it.

Is it a knock or tic sound? Exhaust leak? Valve train noise? Bearing knock usually don't last very long ending with a failed bearing.

I need to check it out again as I cant remember if anything changed much after swapping coil packs. But before I did that it was just a tick that stayed after the normal lifter tick had stopped. When the truck is in the shop next I want them to check the exhaust bolts out.

Appears to driving fine and you cany hear a thing unless your under the hood.

Maybe tomorrow I'll attempt to make an audio clip of the sound.

A couple of clips attached

Idle at 600rpm and warming up
Running 99RON fuel i think is equivalent to 93Octane

Running on LPG, I don't think its an LPG problem but running LPG always highlights any engine problem.

I have some audio clips with the phone touching the coil pack which i will post.

I'm no expert but it doesn't sound healthy. Hope its something in the heads. Easier to fix.
