Looking at a 2006 to purchase and getting back into a Dodge. I'm not to familiar with the hemi. Picture is from the seller from a shop? This need new or can be rebuilt? 217k miles

Looks like a typical case of valve spring failure, bud. A top end refresh won't be that expensive.

With that many miles on it I'd be concerned about rebuilding the lower end as well. At that point, a reman crate engine with a warranty may be cheaper.
