I have a 2015 Ram 3500 with the 6.7 Cummins. It has the aisin transmission also. How do I determine which engine I have. Is it the high output or not. Any identification features would be appreciated. Thank you.

Call the dealer parts with the VIN, they can tell you. Or plug the VIN into the FCA/Mopar VIn listing.

This one will give you the full build sheet, all options.

Thought the engines backed by an aisin tranny were all the H.O version. Non HO engines all got the 68RFE chrylser trans. Also my HO equipped 3500 had a aluminum finned rear diff cover from the factory. Non ho versions didnt.

Thank you for your reply. That’s kind of what I thought. Just hoping to confirm it. My truck doesn’t have a finned diff cover. Is your truck the dually?

The finned cover isn't a "thing" on the 4th gens (you posted in the 5th gen section).

If it has an Aisin trans it IS a high output. My 2018 is a dually H.O. 3.73s and has the Factory finned cover.
