ETC light

My 04 hemi RAM has the ETC and check engine light illuminated had codes read only code is for the coolant temp sensor will this cause the light and performance degrade associated with the ETC light

It would help if you list the actual DTC's. If the PCM doesn't have ECT input it could affect overall performance. It could also indicate there is a problem with the sensor ground or even sensor 5v power supply.
