Not a Ram per say but 2001 dark blue lifted dakota best truck I ever had was quick and fun as hell to drive. My 2011 ram I will drive it til wheels fall off.

This is the last one I sold of many that I regret selling.

I have kept every RAM since that I have bought.

Screw the new ones, THIS is what I want. Not going to pay $80K+ for a work vehicle, sorry. That used to be the price range where you would enter into exotic cars, not a 1/2to truck every high school graduate wants...

I sold this one shortly after...so I guess technically...this was the last dodge I sold. But it was rusting faster than I could save it while sitting at my camp.

NO! Because I now own my FIRST ram. I like my dad's 68 Camper special (not really a "RAM"), first stick I learned to drive. Reg. cab, 383 2bbl, wide ratio 4 spd. 2WD (no sure grip). 750x 16 6plys. and 4.88's in the DANA. Top speed in first - 7MPH , in 4th 85-90MPH. You had to be under 40 to use 2nd so we my best friend to this day would cruse at 40 or so to stack they up behind us. Especially if it was a hot type car. NOTHING ever got by that truck on any rural road, there just was never enough room to get by us!!!! Only one problem: in BIG letters on the doors H.F.Horm & Sons with a phone number.
But I do miss my 02 Dakota: Club cab,4.7, also 2WD HD 9 1/4 - added a tru-trac, HD 5 speed,3.55's did a quarter 15.2, Could hit the century mark in #3rd gear with 2 cogs to go, Pulled my Steel deck with the 66 on it and got 15 doing it. Like my 16 Ram better now but that was the best All-a-round vehicle I ever owned!!
