Prices are going up for everything in Fl. due to insurance cost, real estate taxes, uninsured motorist, and general inflation.

Yes, I know prices are going up everywhere, especially in those areas with hurricanes or anything to do with insurance payouts.

I just though I may as well live somewhere that has fabulous Cave Diving.

I said North Florida.

We will all be long gone by the time North Florida succumbs to rising water levels.
They do get hurricanes, though.

To me, Florida is Florida, all same BS, with a friggin wacky Govt and silly laws. BTBH, I have never been to Florida. WHY??? lol.

My California Motorcycle Insurance is super cheap

I have Pacific Specialty Insurance Company

The Producer is MCGRAW INS Services
I pay $203 annually

I will not compare my Ram insurance with yours
I have Commercial Insurance
State & Federal Law mandates for me to run my business in California, i have to have $750,000 coverage.
In Arizona & New Mexico, i would have to have $1,000,000 coverage

Thank all the Yankees fleeing NY moving to FL and sending your cost of living sky high. If my insurance went up 30% in a year I'd be finding a new agent.

Its also up big time in CT. All auto insurance went up 20.4% for the whole state and nothing you can do. They are proposing 12.4 to 14.8% increase again in 2024. Mine went up more than 50% in 2023. I have a rental in NJ and they are proposing a massive hike (50%+) in insurance for landlords only and not the tenants... how that makes any sense eludes me.

I'm paying $45 a month for full coverage on my 2015 ram, and $8 a month for renters insurance, and $30 a month for liability on a 95 Honda. 10 years clean driving record, over 25, and a super low crime state. I've noticed every few years I have to change insurance companies because they get greedy and jack up your rates hoping it's too much of a hassle for you to switch.
