EVIC Question

First off, Im a new member, a new Dodge owner and this is my first post. I just bought a 2010 Ram 1500 Sport.

Heading to the Drive In tonight, and im wondering if there is a way to dim the EVIC display between the guages while the key is in the accessoy position.

Welcome! On my 2013, there is a horizontal dial that is located right under the headlight control knob. That horizontal dial can be used to dim the dash lights. Not sure if it's the same in your model but I guess it's worth a shot!

You don't care what EVIC says while watching a movie right? So dim the dash and if that isn't good enough, just put a hand towel over it until the movie ends.

Yeah, I just threw my book up there. Worked good. Just sucks... No reason for it to be on even. Was kinda woried I would drain the battery, but didnt have a problem.

Yea, I had that problem at a parking lot party where I was the music - seems stupid that it can't be turned down or off. It really does put out a lot of light
