I have a 2019 6.4L 2500 extended cab with an 8' bed with the standard coil suspension. My previous truck was a 2003 with the same set-up except it had rear leaf springs and a Cummins engine. My current truck is definitely smoother riding due to the coils compared to the old truck. However, on rough road (pavement and gravel), there seems to be excessive suspension bounce that fails to keep the tires on the road. It almost acts like when your shocks are shot on all four corners of the truck. At times, it forces me to take corrective steering action to keep it in the lane.

I seriously doubt that a year of highway driving would cause all four shocks to be bad. Has anyone else had this experience and, if so, what was the correction? The dealer says that the truck drives within specs.

I know Geno’s garage sells an add on to help stop that chatter. It’s basically a shock absorber that mounts between the frame and the axle. Bolt on and reasonably priced. I’ve heard good things.

My 2500 does it after I forget to lower the tire pressure after towing.

Drop your tire pressure, especially if you have 20 inch wheels. I have 18 inch wheels and found the sweet spot for me was 40 rear and 45 front. Of course the TPMS light comes on and you need to air up if hauling.

I can't say I've noticed that and I have the same truck......crew cab 8 foot bed 4x4 6.4. 18's run at stock psi. Sounds like some really crappy roads?

I find my front end will bottom out if I leave a raised parking lot too quickly.

Extended cab, in a 2500? You mean crew cab?

I can't say I've noticed what you have happening. My truck rides very nice. Truck is all stock too.
