Exhaust opinions

I've been getting kinda tired of my exhaust lately so I was thinking of getting it changed and wanted everyone's opinions. Right now I have American racing long tubes with their y pipe and high flow cats from there it goes into a si/do 14" magnaflow and them I took the resonators off to it just goes out the rear bumper. For the next set up I know for sure I'm taking off the y pipe and cats and going with no cats and an x pipe and I'm changing the rear tips but other then that I'm undecided and this is what I'm thinking so far

Dual magnaflow or dynomax bullet mufflers

Two 14" magnaflow mufflers

Two borla xr1's (favorite so far)

Anyone have any other suggestions? I want something a little more aggressive then what I have right now

What i might get if i do get the lt for my bday is true dual xpipe all 2.5" pipe with dual borla xr1 multicore because im getting a little tired of my cut out lol but thats what i would get

yea i havemy cutout right at the end of the y pipe and its fun to open it whenever i want but i want something a little louder so ill probably end up going with the xr1 unless someone can suggest something better

I don't know personally how loud the borla system is, but I'd say look into corsa if you haven't already

i have looked into it but i really want to get away from the y pipe and they dont have any x pipe kits that i could find and they dont sell their mufflers by themselves either so that kinda ruled it out

I have magna flows on mine and am really impressed with the sound. Had flow masters on my old ram and was happy with them too, I now prefer the magnas but it could be the type of them, I'll climb under and snap a pic later on, I think I just have the single muffler to split pipes

Do you have a single one or duals?

I ran no resonators and a single AT3030 dumped at the axle on my last truck and loved it. Got several compliments on it. I'm thinking of going with two of them, x pipe and no resonators on this one. Or maybe CherryBomb Extremes.

Those sound awesome but I thought I has heard they went out of business?

AeroTurbine? I'm not sure if they did or not. You can still buy them on eBay, but that doesn't mean anything. I hope they didn't. That would just make me want them more.

I think I remember hearing that they had stopped making them but they were some pretty good sounding mufflers I might have to look into those and see if I can get my hands on a pair

I just looked on eBay. They're going for about $90 each on there. I think I paid $150 a couple years ago.

Just heard them in true dual and man they sound perfect I wonder if having no cats and long tubes will make them sound bad though

Not sure on that. You might could weed through some videos and find that set up.

I really like Solo-Performance exhaust... I believe this is what I'll be going with when the time comes on my truck and then when I put the ARH long tubes on my G8. Their drone free design is key for me...

Will u get better performance out of a true dual exhaust than a single in dual out?
