Exhaust Resonator

Have any of you guys cut off the extra exhaust resonator on the 6.4? The factory muffler is huge and for some reason they put an additional resonator on right by the passenger side rear wheel. 1.) It looks like ****. 2.) The truck is quiet as a mouse. My Sport had a decent little rumble to it from the factory and my 2500 sounds like a Prius.

I'm in the same boat with my 6.4 The resonator is uuuugly. So is the exit tip angle. I emailed Magnaflow about their new 6.4 single exit system and whether it still sounds normal without the resonator. I will let you know what I hear back.

I'd like to lose my tailpipe and replace it with a Cummins oem 4 inch tailpipe and finish it off with a 4x6" tip!
