Good evening y’all,

I have a 2012 ram 3500 6.7 Cummins. Back last winter, is when it started. I currently hotshot and my exhausted break isn’t working. When it started not working it would work then all of a sudden it stopped working and I would have to shut the truck off and it would like reset it. It slowly got worse and now it doesn’t work at all. When it wasn’t working it would just barely work and just sound like a whistle. It doesn’t even do that now.

I agree, but what codes has it thrown. City Diesel makes an actuator that is plug/play and no reprogramming.

Start with getting the codes. It may be the actuator. This video describes it well.

If you get the actuator off to test the movement but it is jammed up, then I'd consider a turbo replacement with the Cheatah from Fleece. Heres a video on it.
