Whats wrong with an approval process? They're not there to inconvenience the customer, but to make sure repairs are done correctly and only what is needed is replaced. I work for a warranty company and have experience in the shop as well as a former mechanic for Dodge. I deal with mechanics and advisors on a daily basis who aren't properly diagnosing vehicles or who try to replace more parts than are needed. Not only is that bad for business, but it is bad for customers too. Especially if they have deductibles with every repair.
