I have a 2018 Ram 2500 with factory auto start on the fob, it times out in 15 minutes and shuts off. Is there a way to turn the timer off or do I need to get an aftermarket auto start?

I don't believe you can. And in my past experiences with aftermarket, they also have timers. My Python system I had in my 98 RAM had a max run time of 12 minutes.

This, and they often will only remote start a max of 3 times without a key/FOB ignition.

I was about to ask you why you'd need to let it idle longer than 15 minutes, then I noticed your location. Nevermind! :)

Plug in the block heater and install a 120 Volt in car warmer. Much easier on the engine, takes less than 2 minutes to warm up, and you never have to scrape your windows again. Far easier to plug the truck in than beat it up with cold starts. You also save a ton in fuel costs. Have been using this combination for over 40 years. Just run the extension cord through the firewall, use an awl to punch a hole in the boot the hood cabe goes through, and plug it into the same multi plug extension you plug the block heater in with. I keep them both plugged in permanently and wrap the extension cord on the winch with a rig you can get from zerosart for 10 bucks. You can see the blue extension coed wrapped on the left side. You can also mount it to the grill or bumper.

I've got the block heater, oil pan and transmission pad and trickle charger for battery.
I'll look into the car heater.
