Factory HU relocation

Looking into installing a DD in my 15 tradesman equipped with the U5, but still want the ability to change the settings when I want. My idea is to have either the deck relocate or have some kind of quick disconnect to change settings when I want

All I need is the Metra 71-6523 harness and some extra pins for the Metra XSVI-6523-NAV



The plan is only use wires to power up the deck and CAN-BUS. This way I shouldn't need more than 6-8 wires and will be able to use a 8 pin DIN or DB9 connector hidden somewhere for quick connect/disconnect





Anyone knows the connector pinout and what type of pin the male connector use?

Missing pin are not used apparently.

So I need a total of 6 wires going to the factory HU

Ill also try to tap on pin 39-40 to use the factory mic with my Alpine deck.

I thought alpine makes a Head unit that allows you adjust all the factory settings that the OEM radio does? Actually it looks like it may adjust even more setting than the OEM head unit.

Why no just go with this?

I already have the INA-W910 deck and need an AINET capable deck to be able to adjust the volume from the HU (handsfree too) when paired to the Alpine H800 DSP.

the X009-RAM 3400$ MSRP is also a good reason lol.
