I know the reasoning for wanting them, but I bought a nice bright magnetic LED light from WallyWorld. Works great and I can use it as a flashlight also.

Not as cool but $15 - installed :)

Next time I am in the dealer I am going to ask the "truck" guy that works on all the trucks. Maybe he knows if the wiring is there or not. If it is I would really like to have them.

I have these on my 16 longhorn. I'd like to put two more in the cab corners to really light it up. My bakflip cover blocks the cargo lamps

So if I have the holes in my 15 would the wiring be there? I'd like to add the factory lights like the 16's

My 15 was a late build. Build date was 4/15

Here's the holes in my bed

'16 2500 Laramie. Factory installed. They do not come on when you open the tailgate and there is no manual switch on the lights or anywhere in the bed. They do come on automatically when you lock or unlock your doors or by using the manual switch under the headlight dial. They work in tandem with the bed lights in the 3rd brake light housing.

Installed a set of the Mopar cargo lamps, but it does require them to be added to the vin, and a computer flash if you want them to work like the factory option.
