Factory OEM Flares / What the difference?

Looking to find out what is the difference from a set of 17 Ram 1500 flares and a 17 Ram 3500 flares?

These are from a 16 Ram 1500 4x4.

The HD flares don’t go all the way down like that. They stop near the headlight. This is mine.

Owners with the sport front like yours usually use the 2500 flares. The 1500 flares look best on 1500’s with a metal oem bumper
