Just got a 2012 Power Wagon. It does not have power seats or backup cam... etc...

Does the wire harness have those connectors already there if I wanted to add them? Will the computer recognize them if I add them?

Thanks

Because the vast majority of the interior components are identical to the 'regular' line of trucks, you might re-post this question over in the 'main' part of the forum, under the electronics section under the 4th-Gen heading. You are much more likely to get an accurate and experienced answer over there than in the Power Wagon - Specific section.

I have a similar question, as my '16 PW had it's roof lights deleted when they did the fancy 'debadged' Laramie package on it. I miss them...

I found some kick ass bolt on, plug and play replacements that would go right into place where the factory lights are on my '13, but before I go start drilling into the roof of the newer truck, I would sure like to know if the power plugs are already lurking up under the headliner somewhere. I sure hope so. If I had to pull the whole thing apart, drill holes and do all of that, I doubt I would risk tearing the cherry new truck all up to do it, just for cosmetics and my own odd light fetish.

Welcome to the boards, sorry it took so long for at least some type of response.

image.jpeg I bought a clearance light kit for a 2500 from mopar and used the template to drill holes in my 2016 Rebel. Low and behold the wires were under the sheet metal just waiting to be hooked up! The rebel is based on a 1500 platform so I am guessing that any 2500 should have the wire harness run for the top lights. It is still just a guess.
