We had some snow so I thought i would have a little fun. Oops put’er. In the weeds about 50’ feet from my driveway. Ran the winch line across the road to a tree am I ever glad that I moved the control up by the battery.

One of the reasons I bought a pw i should have taken a picture of the other side but I didn’t want to walk through snow up to my knees. Your only young once but you can be immature for ever. Yee yee

You're never really "stuck" unless you need someone else to get you out. Successful winch use is just part of the adventure.

Hopefully nothing got damaged.

You got that right,we need all the moisture we can get.Southern Alberta and Saskatchewan really need it bad,as their water tables are totally depleted

The forecast where I live is calling for 100% POP with steady precipitation for the next 3 days with only a few short 3 or 4 hour breaks in between.

Snow, freezing rain and just more rain expected here.

I loaded up on supplies today, tested out the truck's acceleration and moved a bunch of firewood inside.

I'll be a shut in till next Tuesday.
