failed touchscreen 2018 Uconnect 8.4

I had not heard from the dealer since I picked it up Friday when they told me would they update me the progress of getting a replacement unit. Today I dropped by to check on their progress and it was obvious I was not on their radar even though they still had an open ticket. I made sure they had my name and phone number and told them to keep me updated. At least I have the issue documented in their sytem. Man, things have changed since I was working for Highams Cadillac in Houston, Tx back in the early 70s.

So the long and the short of it, aside from the lamination of the screen, the Uconnect 4C 8.4" is having various issue ranging from locking up and changing the radio station to resetting the clock and making random SOS calls for which there are no solutions.

Is that pretty much it?

2018 lonestar, screen is delaminating and has ghost touches, insanely changes presets every 2 or 3 seconds
