My 2019 came with the Firestone Transforce tires, and the tread has worn down enough at 21k miles that my truck got stuck and spun in soggy turf, even when in 4 WD Low. The tread actually looks fine, and my mechanic just rotated them, but I can't afford to get stuck. I need heavier duty tread. My old F250 diesel (the money pit) had awesome all terrain tires on them with a huge tread.

What are your favorites?

I had Transforce AT on my 2500, even brand new, completely useless in Mud Or Snow. I put on Duratracs as that is what I have run for years, after trying a whole host of other tires. They are a good all round tire and work excellent in mud, snow and decent on ice and paved roads. They have thee 3Peak rating for areas that need that. My pickup spends about 30% of its time on pavement, the rest off pavement. If you spend more time on pavement, the BFG All Terrain/KO2 are a great tire.

If you run a lot of heavy/deep mud, I would suggest BFG Mud Terrains, get them syped so you can run them year round. It is what I ran on my serious off road rigs like Landcruisers, Jeeps etc that went way back off main roads. The pickup I don't push as hard off road, they are just too wide and too long for serious back trails, river and beaver damn crossing so when the trails get bad enough we just unload the quad and use it. It will go places with ease that you would beat hell out of a $90,000 pickup even trying to go the same places.

I had great success in offroad adventures and snow covered roads using BFG Mud Terrain tires on my Toyota extended cab pickup, AKA my Toy.

With 33x9.5" tires, I never got stuck driving up creekbeds and traversing swamps. They love Mud.

I also pulled out my fair share of full-sized trucks that got stuck in the sloppy Mud environments with their pretty looking and wide poser tires.

Tall and narrow wins this race AFAIC.

YMMV

I am currently wearing out a set of MasterCraft Courser MXT.

I was nervous about there performance on icy roads. Well, here in PA this winter...it is about all we got and I have survived.

Been through mud, on lengthy road trips, snow and ice...very pleased.

^^^^ What he said.

BFG KO2s are what I use as winter tires on my Ram truck and other trucks I've owned since 2008.

I bought & tried expensive new snow tires years ago after years of using BFGs and sold them at a loss after a couple of weeks of use. I replaced them with BFGs as the snow tires were a huge disappointment.

I use tall & narrow for winter performance in deep snow, mostly on-road.

I just took off the stock Firestone tires and put on Copper Discoverer A3 XLT, 295/70/18, I like the look and the ride is good.

That’s what I’ve got on my 2004 Jeep. Thinking about putting them on the Ram
