I have a set of bushwhacker pocket flares that I have been running on the front. Sold my flatbed and put a factory bed back on, but need to color match the rear flares, so I took the fronts off. I always read reviews that these can scratch the paint, but I figured it would buff out. However, I have spots that have worn through the clear and making gouges in the paint. I know what causes this, just wondering if anyone knew of a way to either seal these to the paint, or some kind of coating that I can put between the fender and the flares.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Paint protection film or some call it clear bra is pretty much the only thing that works

I used the ppf, everywhere there was contact between the paint and the flares. Don’t know how it is holding up, I only did it a couple months ago and have not taken the flares off yet.
