Finally wore out the stock SRAs enough to justify getting a new set of tires. I have been following all the posts about the Falken Wildpeaks and had been sold on them for a while. Just got put on yesterday and no complaints!

Falken Wildpeak AT3W, stock 275/60/20 size, truck is fully stock.

Me too, i was worried that stock size may not have as deep of tread, but they look awesome still. Really comparable to KO2s in my opinion for way less $$$. I know KO2s are more ply/higher load rating, but for the average RAM owner that does light off road, these are the best of both on and off road!

Are they noisier? Rougher riding?

Hardly anything noticeable. They are still LT rated tires so not real rough but still a better load rating than the SRAs. I saw posts that KO2s can be noisy, rougher ride and cost about $80 more per tire where I’m at so these were perfect for me!

The AT3 is an awesome all around truck tire and are 10 ply rated just like the KO2's, although I was lucky enough
to be able to compare the sidewalls on both tires together at Walmart, and the Wildpeak AT3's sidewalls actually
felt stiffer and thicker than the KO2's....

Love mine. 16k on them, not a single complaint. Well except they are heavy as hell...but thats my size tire’s fault, not Falken. I guess if they were light they'd be SR-A’s haha

I think these were like 8 pounds heavier per tire than the SRAs for stock size. Obviously, going to a larger size and/heavier duty tire will only increase the weight!

Glad to hear the good experience with them, haven’t hear anyone regret it!

@BIG BALOO That sounds about right. I went from a 265/70/17 to LT305/55/20...35lbs to 71lbs....so in my case, it is a considerable difference in size and weight. The tires are great though.

I think the noise is about the same as stock, I can’t hear a difference. And if anything, they are smoother riding than the stock. But I did go from a 20” to a 17” at the same time.

I also have P rated tires, I was going to get the LT but the tire place told me they weren’t needed for what a do.

They didn’t have either one in stock, so I don’t think it was a matter of trying to sell me what they have.

They certainly a more aggressive, true AT tread tire. Especially over the SR-A’s, which are really just an all-season tire and a poor example of that shamefully.

I've got about 25k miles on my Falken Wildpeak AT3W's now. I swap them out for Blizzaks in the winter months. Overall, I've been happy with them, especially for the price. However, I would say there is a considerable amount of road noise produced by these (for those of you sensitive to such things). That being said, the noise increase compared to SRA's should be expected going to a tread pattern like the AT3W's have.

I was also looking at these but to get the 10 ply I had to go up to the 285/60/20 instead of the stock 275/60/20 at the tire shop I was at still waiting to decide.

I have 35,000 miles on my set of AT3Ws. Still have plenty of tread and I pull a 7000 pound camper once a month

Falkens on mine about two months ago. Love how aggressive they look. Ride quality is great, no noticeable difference in road noise.

Fully recommend.

I have close to 20k miles on mine, 315/70/17 e rated. They're heavy at 72lb mounted on 17x9 wheels they're 100lbs per corner. great traction in rain, snow, sludge, dirt, sand etc. they're wearing down great considering my truck is almost 500lbs heavier than a stock crew cab express. 1/32 every 5k miles and i run them at 36psi. They'll start being very quiet when new, but for me that changed at about 7-10k miles, they have become louder almost like an MT tire. I like the tire but as always i always want something different. I'll pick MT tires next time, prob fairly soon if i can score a deal for July 4th :)
