Well, I'm done with this air hat. The Grand Cherokee hat is just refusing to play nice, so I'll have to find a Dakota/Durango air hat and trash this one.

I think you are right. I went ahead with the GC air hat because I had it (duh, bad move) and because I was thinking that it being smaller it would increase air velocity.

Ya know what they say, hindsight is always 20/20.

From what I just googled, nope. There aren't many yards out this way. And even less have Dodge.

Back when I needed my plenum to be done, I was gonna get a kegger and TB and was going to mod both of them, put the plate on it, then take it to the shop to have it all installed.

Man, I've checked Car-part. It seems no one around here uses them. I'm going to attempt to get my ass over to the other, larger yard tomorrow to procure a new air hat. I'm done effin with this damn GC one!

I have no idea what that is. Seems like each throttle body on a 360 is an individual.



So I'm defeated..YET AGAIN. The air hat fits, but the s-bolt is so long that it won't let the hat slip over it. I need to apparently cut some thread off so it'll fit. Oh yeah...and I'll need to get some more pipe to get my tube where I want it in the engine bay.

It keeps on going.

And my foot is not being used for reference...only to hold them up.

^^^ that's why I chose the DAK Assy..... Now to find time and energy to get started on working up the design I have in my head for a CAI and to get back to working on my TB...
