Is the android auto an app on the radio? Would like to get this working on mine.
If your inquiring about your '17, the UAS or UAQ radios were not installed in the trucks to the '18 model year. Despite the promise of a software/firmware upgrade for the pre-'18 radios, that never happened.
You would need one the mentioned radios along with the upgraded Media USB hub w/adapter.

This is the 8.4 radio I have in my 2017 now. It should work on this?
I have the upgraded media hub because it wouldn't work with the original.

That appears to a new enough radio to run AndroidAuto.
Make sure AndroidAuto is installed on your phone and everything is up to date. Be sure to use a good USB cable, preferably 3' or shorter.
