I know mpg has been a huge topic in the world of the hemi ram and I thought I would share mine. The wife and I made a trip from Texas to Minnesota over to Wisconsin. To visit some family and to do some fishing. On the way up we averaged a outstanding 21.3 mpg according to the evic I was extremely impressed. My truck is a 14 quad cab express 4wd with 3.55 posi. On the way home we had to make a stop in Nebraska. So from Wisconsin to Nebraska we averaged 19s once we hit Nebraska our load became less aerodynamic we had to pick up a table and chairs from my grandmothers plus luggage we were stacked pretty tall. From Nebraska down to Texas we averaged low 17s. We had a pretty hard head wind in Kansas. Also we ran 89 the whole trip and always pressed the speed limit by about 3 so the majority of the trip was 73-78 mph. I was really impressed with the mileage on the way up and just wanted to share.

not bad. I'm sure the evic is not completely accurate, but that is still good numbers

woa, I was at 18.4 (from McAllen to san Antonio) and using the hills for better MPG. I mean I was TRYING HARD to get better MPG and the most was that 18.4 the EVIC showed.

I was going about 75mph mostly

I see you have a 6spd, I'm gonna guess the OP has an 8spd.

you have a 6spd and 3.55, my truck for example is an 8spd 3.21 and I'm managing ~16mpg with 90% city driving.

And mine with 3.55's averages 16.5 in the summer with 90% highway. The varience in trucks here is amazing.

By EVIC on a 350 mile weekend cruise around I saw 21.3. 90% was freeway at 72 on cruise. Right now I've got 17.4 with 50% or less freeway and rest city up and down 40mph speed limit. I'm at 3800 miles on truck so I'm happy it's loosening up.

See mine hasn't yet cracked 1k, but I have been seeing the mileage creep up little by little after I crossed the 500 mark. hopefully it continues that way haha
