First Post and LowBeams

Alrighty guys first post on here guys, bear with me .

I was driving my 81 D150 the other night and it stalled on me while I was shifting from 2nd to Drive. Afterwards my lowbeams will not turn on any longer, though all other lights work, including my highbeams.

Any ideas?

how old is the dimmer switch on the floor? could try making a jumper wire from the yellow wire to the other wires and see if everything works
